New Job, New Major, New Things, New Goodbyes

Hey Everyone!
Wow! I have so many things to share! First of all, my pain has gotten much worse lately.  I've been having more dislocations and pain than normal.  This, of course, results in more pain medication.  I HATE taking more pills than I already do, but sometimes I don't have a choice.  My primary care physician (PCP) told me that I will never be pain free, even if I lose weight.  That is super disappointing.
I am starting at a pain clinic in Canton, MI soon, which will hopefully change my life for the better! I'm really excited about that appointment!  I also will be getting oral surgery to get my wisdom teeth out in the next week and a half.  That surgery will apparently be very intense and can't get here soon enough.

I got a new job!! I will be staying at Charming Charlie for now too.  I really like Charming Charlie, but because of some crazy laws that Obama created, I can't work more than 26 hours a week as a part time employee.  I need more hours and more money, like we all do. lol  This new job will be as a caregiver in an in home individual health care setting.  The person I'm working with is amazing and I'm very excited!

I am officially changing my major.  I will be going into social work instead of sign language interpreting.  I am planning on continuing to work with the Deaf Community as a social worker and/or working with people with disabilities.  I am excited for this change, as well as sad to leave my dream of becoming an interpreter behind.

Even with some heartbreaking goodbyes, there have been some joyous meetings.  I have had some wonderful people enter into my life, as well as some leave my life.  As much as I want to beg them to stay in my life, I am trying to remember that God had them leave for a reason.
Stay strong everyone!  Keep loving one another and never give up!
Gentle hugs!
