Learning More About Me

 Many of you know that I met my birth mom, brother, and all the family on my birth mom's side in January 2011. It's been a wonderful and emotional few years. I've had a nephew and niece born, a cousin get married and have a son and learned alot about my birth family.  I'm so grateful for the relationships I've made.
What many people don't know is I started talking to my birth father in February this year.  We haven't spoken as much but it's still interesting to talk to him. 
Just some clarifying etiquette about talking to someone who's adopted, at least for me.  I have parents and birth parents.  My parents and Pat and Chris. My birth parents are Michele and Kevin. Neither can take the place of the other.
I'm so grateful for all 4 of them.  I wouldn't be who I am without each of them.  It's my unique family and  I  wouldn't want it any other way!
