The Randomness of It All

Hey everyone!!
I hope everyone is doing wonderful! I am doing okay and dealing with some pain.  I fell really hard on Thursday.  I was crossing the street and stepped in a pothole and went down.  I caught myself with my right hand and so I hurt my wrist and my ankle and really bruised my left knee.  For sure, my wrist and ankle partially dislocated and it has been hard to walk and do much with my right hand and wrist.  On top of babying my right hand, wrist and ankle, I'm also trying to baby my left knee.  It's kind of annoying.  I went to see my chiropractor yesterday and he said that I was totally messed up (like usual, but ALOT worse).  I have iced things, wrapped things, used Salonpas pain relieving patches, and taken my anti-inflammatory medications and my pain medications.  I still am hurting.
This is why I'm not ashamed to say that I have been approved for a handicap parking tag.  Even if I am having a good day with pain, I never know what is going to happen.  I can easily dislocate, fall, or pain can randomly start.  One of the most frustrating things about EDS is the unpredictable part of it.  I could have a great pain day and one little thing can cause horrible pain.  I can be great and randomly have something dislocate.
It's a struggle and probably won't get easier any time soon, but I am continuing to fight and stay positive.  I know being positive is a huge deal and is going to help me alot, but sometimes we all need to complain. :)
I love you guys!
Gentle hugs!
