Dear Doctor's Office...

Dealing with chronic pain, fatigue and unstable joints is hard. It's a daily struggle but one that I'm willing to battle. Sometimes though, the battle with doctor offices can be just as difficult. It's a battle that no one truly understands until they have some kind of chronic condition or a illness that requires constant communication with doctor offices.

While trying to find a diagnosis and after getting diagnosed, I have had one problem after another with different offices.
One office that I go to is super unorganized. They will call and tell me that my prescription is ready and when I get there to pick it up, it isn't printed, they can't find it, it's not signed, they printed the wrong one, or they simply have no idea what I'm talking about. Some of my prescriptions they can't call in and so I have no choice but to pick them up. Only reason I'm staying there is my doctor is amazing.

Another office, one of my specialists, is absolutely horrible with returning calls. The doctor I need to see has a specific assistant. She never calls me back, and when she does, she assumes that the one appointment time she has for me will work and so she never has an option. Then, once I tell her I can't make that specific day, she says she'll find another date and call me back. She usually doesn't call me for 2 weeks, even though I call her and always get her voicemail.

Overall, the more contact I have with different offices, the more problems and less organization I find. It's really pretty frustrating.

Gentle hugs!
