BOTH are super inconvenient, right? Definitely annoying. If I had
to pick one side effect over another, I would choose neither.
About
10 hours ago, I took a new pain medication. My doctor and I decided
that Tramodol wasn't helping with my massive amount of pain every time I
took it, and if it did help, it wasn't helping as much. So, Tramodol
is still okay for me to take for pain, since it worked sometimes and
somewhat, but for long term pain, we decided to try a different
medication. The new medication is in a different group or family I
guess. That is the best way I can explain it. Anyway, I decided to
start this new medication. I have heard that this medication can cause
cloudy thinking and over tiredness, but never heard that it can cause
insomnia. Because it is 5am and I still haven't been able to fall
asleep, I decided to look up common side effects of the medication and
found that it is definitely a side effect.
Guess this is a
lesson. Read all you can before you take a medication. Also learning
something else from this, this disorder is something I can't really
control. There hasn't been that much research on it because they don't
have enough funding, and hopefully that will change. As of right now, I
don't know everything about it. I'm still growing and learning. I'm
not an expert on my own EDS-3 yet, but will be eventually.
Learning, growing, and making mistakes on the way.
Gentle hugs.
Carley
